Miscellaneous St. Martin

These are just houses, small hotels and restaurants collectively called Rainbow Row. It was just north of us on the east side of the island. We drove through it on the way to Orient beach.

There is a restaurant right by the airport and we heard people go there to feel the blast from the jets landing, so of course we went. We only saw a few small planes (and that's why we're still here today, if you believe this sign):

I took this from Soprano's restaurant in Maho bay, on the southwest side of the island. Yes, the restaurant was Sopranos themed with posters and everything. I guess I should have taken photos but you all know what Tony and Carmela look like.


On Front street in Phillipsburg, the capital of Dutch St. Maarten. There were tons of duty free shops, mostly jewelry and electronics, and then touristy ones like these:



At Marigot harbor on the west side, where we took the ferry to Anguilla:

There is nothing like a t-shirt shops in the islands . . .
