21 months old

Marlo is growing up so fast! She is talking all the time, saying the funniest things. She plays pretend with her toys and dolls, putting them "ni-night" and telling me when her baby cries.

She loves music, singing and dancing. She's always pretending to play the trumpet or flute or drums.

My favorite thing about her is how hard she tries. It's a lot of work for that little body to jump, or do the hokey-pokey, or fit in the pieces of a puzzle. When she doesn't get it right she just tries again, never giving up. And she's so proud of herself when she gets it right.

I'm proud of her regardless.

Maybe she needs more hokey-pokey training from Grandma Pat. That's the way to do it. I miss this little lady so much!

Hi Erin! I don't know if you remember me, but we met at Amy and Matt's wedding?
Anyway, I just wanted to say your little Marlo is so adorable, and so full of personality!
I remember she was quite the dancer at Amy's wedding too!
