More Catalina
I was thinking about the first time we were there. It was Valentine's Day 2003 and we were just engaged. We took a tour of the casino, which really isn't a casino at all, but a theater and a ballroom with the most beautiful architecture and artwork. We toyed with the idea of getting married there, but it would have been quite a feat for everyone to get there.
So fast forward to 2006, and we're back with our little baby. I'm so glad we went. We had a great time just being together for four days nonstop. We left before noon today rather than stay for the festivities there, because it would have been hectic with the big crowds.
We're happy to be home. I cleaned house before we left, and our laundry's already done (you know me) so now we're just relaxing. Marlo missed her play mat and her ceiling fan, so she's cooing and gurgling away out there, doing her kicks and swinging those chubby arms.

Happy 4th...I'm missing all of you so much. I wish the three of you could make it to Cedar City, if only for a couple of days. The family reunion won't be the same without you.

funny when those moments happen and you look around and can't believe how far you've come... it really does bring happiness to see progression and growth with the one you love. Even crazier to think about all that you have to look forward to!
