Confessions

I watch some smutty tv. When I list all of it it's going to seem like that's all I do. But keep in mind Mark watches it too, (that makes it ok) and we record everything, shaving off some time by not watching commercials, plus I never just sit there and watch tv. I'm blogging or reading or actually making dinner. That said, these are my shows:

We went to Wild Animal Park with Lane and Taylor. It was perfect weather and we had a lot of fun. Taylor loves to see Marlo and he's so sweet with her. He'll push her stroller and get her out of her carseat and the second she cries, he's trying to entertain her. It's about the cutest thing I've ever seen.

We're back!

We had a great time. We stayed at Mandalay Bay. We'd stayed there once before, but it was just for a night. I hadn't really spent much time there otherwise because it's at the end of the strip but I really liked it. There's some good shops, Urban outfitters and Cream, which was full of my favorite bags: Isabella Fiore and Betsey Johnson.
Marlo loved having so much to look at, everyone loved her too. She was just happy and smiley to everyone who talked to her. She isn't really a fan of going out to eat, however, but I can't blame her one bit for that!

Something to leave you with

We are going to Las Vegas tomorrow, last minute decision, so I won't be posting for a few days. Enjoy!

My brother, Dana and Sabrina left this morning. It was so great having them here. Amy came up and we went to the pool, then made dinner last night. Then Mike and Mark went to Harrah's...

One sweet baby

I just love her so much. Every day she is more adorable. Today she was pushing herself up on her hands and knees, getting ready to crawl. It's always shocking to see her do something new.
We are very excited to see my brother, his wife Dana and my neice Sabrina...they have been in Disneyland and will be here tomorrow. I can't wait!

Halloweens past...

I know, I know

they haven't won a game. But Marlo is not a fairweather fan. That is carrot on her face, and went over very well.

At the park

There was an Octoberfest celebration at the park today. (Free bratwurst!) We were there for a few hours, but now I'm by myself.
Mark's at a poker game, Marlo's sleeping and I've been messing around on the computer while watching THE BEST movies on tv. First it was From Justin to Kelly, now Grease, and you guessed it, Grease 2's on next. Cheesy goodness!

Busy, busy

Marlo gets very focused on her work in her Exersaucer. As she should. She is a Very Important Person with a lot of responsibility and not everyone can do her job. Which is why, when you interrupt her with your silly requests, she whips her head around and raises her eyebrows as if to say, with little patience, "Yes?"
When you're done with your nonsense, she gets right back to work. She hasn't got time for this.

Last night

my sister stayed with us because she had to be to work really early today. She works at Charthouse in Cardiff now, really close, so we'll see her more often. I'm hoping she and Josh will move up this way eventually.
Marlo woke up at 4 this morning so I brought her in bed with us. I woke up a few hours later because she was smacking my face. With love, of course.

A few

from the new camera. It's no big deal, just a newer model of my old one. I can tell a difference, although these photos aren't great examples. I am still looking into getting a better one. I'm getting really tired of the harsh flash and the delay of what I have now.
Anyway, no matter the camera, my baby is dang cute.

She changes so much, so quickly. She scoots around and pushes herself up when she's on her belly. She is talking so much and it's so cute. I love her in the shopping cart. She acts like such a pro.
