We got such lovely Christmas cards this year. Whole families got together, bathed and dressed their children, and met professional photographers outside for family photos. I was amazed.
After noticing I decorated the banister: "I love what you did with the stairs. It's so fashion."
They were discussing holidays celebrated at this time of year at preschool. At the mention of Hannukah, Marlo said she celebrates Mannukah. It's Marlo and Hannukah together and you ride ponies, jump on trampolines and dress up.
During prayers tonight: "I completely lost my white mee and I really, really, really want it."
In the car ride on the way home from school: "Mom, I love you as big as an elephant."
And the other day before she left for school with no suggestion from us, she kissed each of her brothers and told them she was going to miss them.
We've had the fake one up for awhile (thanks for your help sister), but it just wasn't the same. So we got one and it's so Charlie Brown, and I don't even smell any piney deliciousness...but we sure had fun.
